November 12 - 15th 2009	Marquette Sports Medicine Institute, provided medical coverage, under the medical direction of Dr. J. Bryan Dixon and Dr. John Lehtinen, for the 2009 ISU World Cup Short Track Speed Skating Competition. Facts: -350 athletes from 34 countries completed -This event was the largest speed skating competition held in the world this year -Live television coverage in China and Korea -VERSUS network provided national coverage of the event reaching 75 million homes -Men’s 500 meter world record was broken 4 times at event and the NMU Berry Event Center was declared the “Fastest ice on earth”

September 8 - 12th 2009	Marquette Sports Medicine Institute, provided medical coverage, under the Medical Direction of Dr J. Bryan Dixon and Dr. John Lehtinen, for the 2009 U.S. Olympic Trials for Short Track Speed Skating.

August 10th 2009	MGH Sports Medicine in collaboration with MGH Neuropsychological and MGH Neurosurgery implemented IMPACT concussion testing to the MSHS Varsity football team for concussion management.
