Do I need a physician referral to use the services?

 

A referral may not be required. Depending on your insurance coverage you may need a referral from your primary care physician. Our physicians accept commercial insurance and self pay arrangements. Diagnostic and rehab services may be accessed via direct referral from your primary care physician.

Can I have surgery at the Marquette Sports Medicine Institute?

 

Yes. State-of-the-art, minimally invasive outpatient surgeries are being performed locally by our team of        affiliated physicians. Please refer to our physician page to choose a physician that is right for you.

I don’t have a physician; can I just set up an appointment with one at the Institute?

 

Yes, our team of Physicians at the Marquette Sports Medicine Institute will be pleased to make an appointment with you. Please call us at 1 (800) 200-TEAM and ask for one of our Physicians.

Can I do my rehab at the Institute?

 

The Marquette Sports Medicine Institute prides itself in partnering with the best sports medicine therapy providers in the region. Additional information on athletic training services or rehab providers can be obtained at the time of initial consultation with one of our physicians.

I’m not involved with an organized athletic team. Can I still access services at the Institute?

 

Yes. The same sports medicine care and surgical services that are available to the regions elite Collegic and Olympic athletes are available to the recreational or novice athlete in all of us. Whether it’s back to work or back to the gridiron, our physicians customize your care to meet your goals and objectives.

I do not have a sports injury; can I still be treated at the Marquette Sports Medicine Institute?
